The Constitution of the Lawrence Turnverein is a 32 page booklet. It was printed by the German-language newspaper, "Die Germania". The front contains the state emblem and motto "Ad Astra Per Aspera" The introduction begins with the club motto "Durch Uebung zur Kraft, Durch Kampf zum Licht", which means "through practice to strength, through challenges to light."
