Kansas Territorial Map - 1856.

This map depicts Kansas Territory in 1856. Most settelments are along rivers and along the eastern border with Missouri. Note that it extends west to the Rocky Mountains and that to the south what is listed as "Indian Territory" will later become Oklahoma.
