"Herr Knapp of Sumner County"

A Railroad Poster encouraging immigration to Kansas.

"Herr Knapp of Sumner County" is one section of text of a promotional poster encouraging German-speaking people to immigrate to Kansas and secure homesteads. This is one of several letters serving as testimonials to advantages of farming in Kansas. It is section 10B of the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railway poster titled "Die Beste Gelegenheit im Westen."
