All four views were taken of the intersection of Massachusetts and 7th Streets. They show the businesses on each corner looking north, south, east and west.

Southeast:The roof of the Eldridge House can be seen in the right foreground and the Merchants National Bank is in the center background. (Clock tower in front of building)

Southwest: The front of the Eldridge House is in the right foreground and Old North College can be seen on the hill in the distance.

Northwest: The large building on the left is the Lawrence National Bank and on the right is the Bowersock Opera House.

Northeast: The Bowersock Opera House is on the right and on the left can be seen the roof of the Eldridge House and beyond is part of the Lawrence National Bank.
