Second hotel in Lawrence.

Work was started on the St. Nicholas Hotel on September 26, 1854. It was the second hotel and was hoped to be ready in time for the third party of emigrants. It was also known as the Kannady and Fry Boarding house and was located at 619 Vermont Street.
