The purpose of this portfolio is three-fold. Number one,
through the inclusion of lesson and unit plans, assessment, philosophy
of teaching, and reflection on my growth as a professional, I hope to
demonstrate my past, present and future commitment to the field of education
and to teaching in particular. Number two, I hope to show my interest
in and work with educational technology. I have included examples of the
use of technology in my classroom, examples of technology-centered projects
which I have designed and assessed, documentation of my studies in this
area, and a reflection on technology-centered extra curricular activities
which I have sponsored. Finally, I will demonstrate the various ways in
which I have helped to bring technological-know-how to my colleagues in
education.
